For the past two years, Diversity Consultants have been entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating sessions for participants enrolled in an extended program of the Second Chance Program of the Gary City Drug Court. The sessions primarily are geared toward motivating and redirecting the behavior of the young men who have involved themselves in antisocial behavior. It is the intent of the presiding judge and court to extend an alternative to incarceration to the participants, in an effort to firmly and strongly encourage them to refocus their energies in a positive direction.
